The life and career of actor Sachika Misawa
Misawa’s voice acting career began after winning the “Kadokawa×Up-Front Style Idol Seiyū Audition 2008” competition in February 2009. She made her debut as Yuri Gamagori in the anime Shangri-La. Misawa graduated from high school in March 2011 and entered university the following month.
She graduated from university in March 2016. At the age of 20, she worked part-time as a shrine maiden, a childhood dream come true. Misawa landed a major role as Kuroyukihime in Accel World in 2012, and released her debut album Polaris in 2013.
She has released several singles since then, including “Links” and “Faith”. In 2020, she released her second single “I’m here/With You”, which she wrote and composed herself. She also released her first major original album “I Am Me” under Universal Music Japan in December 2020, which includes her self-written and composed song “Aoi Namida”.
xMisawa announced her departure from Space Craft Entertainment at the end of December 2020 and started working as a freelance voice actress. She used to run a YouTube channel and a blog, but they were shut down after leaving the agency.

Sachika Misawa previously hosted a weekly solo radio program called “Misawa Sachika no Radio wo Kiku Janne!” which aired on 超！Ａ＆Ｇ＋. However, the program was stopped after she went on hiatus in June 2022. She also co-hosted the BanG Dream! weekly radio show “Sunset Studio” with fellow Afterglow member Hisako Kanemoto, and had a biweekly radio program called “Nashiraji” with Natsumi Takamori which promoted Yamanashi prefecture.
Misawa also co-hosted “Oresuki Radio” with radio personality Takeshi Washizaki and had a weekly radio program called “Let’s Become a Novelist Navi” with Junta Terashima until September 25, 2022.
